Mumbe is a dedicated social innovator committed to driving positive change in Africa and beyond. Currently serving as the co-founder of Nyansapo AI, Mumbe leads initiatives that leverage Artificial Intelligence to enhance the literacy and numeracy skills of primary school children in underserved African communities. Through Nyansapo AI, Mumbe has collaborated with partners and fundraisers to support over 5,000 children, providing them with essential foundational skills for their educational journey.
Prior to her work with Nyansapo AI, Mumbe served as an African Young Women Leaders Fellow at UNDP Cameroon, where she spearheaded initiatives promoting gender equality and women's empowerment. Her experience spans diverse areas such as Sports Diplomacy, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Digital for Development, addressing critical challenges facing Africa. Additionally, Mumbe's tenure with international NGOs like Peace First and Pace Maker International has equipped her with valuable skills in program management and youth empowerment.
Looking ahead, Mumbe aspires to integrate her expertise in technology, development, and policy-making to drive systemic change. Inspired by the African concept of Ubuntu, she believes in the collective power of action and empathy to transform societies. Committed to lifelong learning and collaboration, Mumbe seeks to forge connections with fellow changemakers and explore innovative opportunities to build a better world grounded in equity, opportunity, and solidarity.
