Portrait image of Mirko Bischofberger

Mirko Bischofberger moves at the boundaries of science, communication and storytelling. He studied Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics at the ETH Zurich and holds a PhD from the EPFL. After that he worked as a science journalist for the renowned Swiss newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung and published in internationally peer-reviewed magazines. After being a Fellow to the Swiss Parliament, he continued to work for the Swiss National Science Foundation and the EPFL. Today he heads the communication of EPFL and runs www.science-studios.ch, a multidisciplinary laboratory at the borders of science, communication and policy.
