Alessandro Mantelero is Associate Professor of Private Law and Data Ethics & Protection at the Polytechnic University of Turin. He is Council of Europe Scientific Expert on Artificial Intelligence and data protection. He has served as an expert on data regulation for several national and international organizations, including the United Nations, the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights, the European Commission, the Italian Ministry of Justice and the Italian Communications Authority (AGCOM). He has held visiting appointments in several universities, including Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University and Oxford Internet Institute at Oxford University.
