Asif Jan joined Owkin from Roche where he was Global Head of Analytics (Personalised Healthcare) in the Pharma Product Development division. Asif brings more than 20 years of experience in data strategy, data architecture & engineering and data science. He started his career as a software engineer building distributed data systems at a global scale with hands-on data architecture and engineering responsibilities. Subsequently, as a strong data strategist, Asif led a number of initiatives in diagnostics and pharma domain articulating data driven approaches to transform traditional business. Asif is an accomplished leader who has built and led global teams in data science and engineering. He is passionate about the potential of leveraging data and advances in AI/ML to transform drug discovery, development and patient care.
