Didier is project and product manager at Tamedia, leading private media group in Switzerland. Engineer in IT, he's been succesively developer, project manager, IT manager and deputy CIO. He's focusing now on innovation projects for Media, leveraging data and machine learning potentials in media industry. Among the topics launched in this field, to be mentioned are Tadam, Tamedia data mining, aiming at providing a tool for journalists for analysing leaks like Paradise Papers, automatic generation of contents, various tools for optimizing the added-value man can extract from image and text archives and news recommendation/personalization engines. Numerous of these projects are realized in close collaboration with academic institutions and in particular EPFL.
