Dr. Li Pu is a robotics enthusiast and serial entrepreneur in the world of smart things. Li had been the vice-president of Segway-Ninebot, founded Segway Robotics specialized in designing and manufacturing autonomous mobile robots for home environment and last-mile delivery. Li was a data scientist at Twitter, working on large scale machine learning systems. And his work on autonomous drones enabled the early Antarctic expedition missions using drone to map polar icecap environments. Li obtains his doctoral degree in computer science from EPFL, and a master degree from Tsinghua University.
