Lucas Vandroux is the co-founder of VU Engineering, a Swiss provider of deep learning-enabled visual inspection platforms for manufacturing. After graduating from ETH Zurich in 2018, he specialized in the automation of complex visual inspection processes requiring advanced computer vision and machine learning technologies. He founded the start-up BlinkLabs in 2018 before establishing the ETH Zurich Spin-off VU Engineering in 2020. He is now leading the development of VU Engineering’s Autonomous Visual Inspection Systems.
