Dr. Mehmet Mercangöz is the ABB Reader in Autonomous Industrial Systems at the Department of Chemical Engineering of Imperial College London. He is also a member of the Sargent Centre for Process Systems Engineering. Previously, he worked for 14 years at the research organization of the company ABB, most recently as a coordinator for industrial artificial intelligence. His research interests are in model predictive control, machine learning, and process optimization.
