Dr Muhammad Atif Qureshi, based in TU Dublin, is a lecturer in Data Analytics.

Before this appointment, Atif has contributed to EU, EI, and SFI funded projects during his different post-doctoral positions at Adapt-TCD, CeADAR-UCD, and Insight-UCD, respectively. One of his contributions is licensed to a leading media organisation of Ireland in the space of social media analytics. Among his research contributions, one of his research is referenced on Wikipedia’s Word Embedding article as contributions in the area of Explainable AI. Atif has authored over 40+ peer-review research publications.

Atif’s research focuses on Machine Learning, Explainable AI, Text Mining, Information Retrieval, Predictive Maintenance, Applications of Knowledge Graphs and Social Media Analytics. Atif is passionate about the tight coupling of business and analytics to generate value and impact. Within the team, he believes in the idea of happy faces through a friendly and approachable environment.
