Shusen Liu is a research scientist at the Center for Applied Scientific Computing (CASC) at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory(LLNL).  His research interests lie primarily in high-dimensional data visualization and interpretable machine learning. He received a Ph.D.in computing from the University of Utah in 2017.
