Sylvain Coutu holds a PhD from EPFL that he obtained in 2013. He worked 4 years in the agriculture department of Swiss Re, where he developed several applied R&D projects related to satellites, often in partnership with academic experts. He was recently appointed Head of Innovation at Swiss Re. Sylvain is also in charge of Public Private Partnerships at NASA HARVEST, the NASA Food Security Consortium.
