Wei Cui leads the development of Squirrel AI’s intelligent adaptive learning system, which has been demonstrated to outperform experienced teachers in several scientific experiments. He was named Professorate Senior Engineer in 2019 and awarded “MIT Technology Review 35 Innovators Under 35 China” in 2018. He won the best paper at IEEE-CiFEr and served as the local chair of CIKM’19, industry chair of IEEE-CEC’19 and AIED’20, and technical committee member of KDD’19 workshop. He received a doctor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from the National University of Ireland.
