Yussuf is a geospatial consultant in Zanzibar, Tanzania and currently he is Tanzania Flying Labs’ Head Pilot and Trainer. Yussuf holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and a Diploma of Computer Science from the State University of Zanzibar (SUZA). He also founded the Apps Club in SUZA where students learn how to develop mobile applications for the Android platform. He is involved in the pioneering Zanzibar Mapping Initiative and has led many GIS and drone-related training courses in East Africa and beyond.
