Abdoulaye Diack is a husband, father of two and a Program Manager for Google AI 🤖 in Accra, where he leads talent building programs and applied AI research projects. He was previously a Program Manager for Google Brain 🧠. With expertise in AI/ML research and research Ops, Abdoulaye has accumulated more than 20 years of engineering and management experience in various countries, focusing on mobile financial services, payments, and big data solutions for Telcos. He holds a BSc degree in Computer Science from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, and is originally from Senegal. In his current role, Abdoulaye is part of a team that focuses on AI impact-driven research and innovation, with a particular focus on sustainable development in Africa.
