Khalil Gorsan Mestiri is an AI Research Engineer at InstaDeep, working extensively on leveraging AI for the benefit of solving real world problems with a focus on railway systems and routing problems.

He is currently working on prototyping and implementing a deep reinforcement railway dispatching solution that handles the train rescheduling of the Germany fleet at-scale. 

Born and raised in a mediterranean north African country, Tunisia, Khalil has a deep interest in its history from Carthage to nowadays.
