Currently, in his fourth year of Ph.D. in quantitative economics, Gilles is passionate about using mathematical and computer science tools to solve real-life problems. His Ph.D. is about using online data to better analyze markets. And also how to mix machine learning methods with econometrics ones in order to solve original economics problems. He is also actively working on several entrepreneurial and social projects.
