Anna Jobin is a researcher at the Health Ethics & Policy Lab, Department of Health Sciences and Technology, at ETH Zurich. She has a multidisciplinary background in sociology, economics, and information management. Her current research projects are situated at the intersection of science, technology and society, with a particular focus on ethics in research and citizen science, interaction with algorithmic systems, and ethical artificial intelligence. Prior to joining ETH, Anna Jobin was a Visiting Scholar at Cornell and Tufts University. She is a recipient of a Swiss National Science Foundation career grant Doc.Mobility, and a member of the Internet Research Ethics working group. Her research and expertise have been featured in popular media such as the Neue Zurcher Zeitung, Le Temps, the Swiss National Radio, the technology website Singularity Hub and the MIT Technology Review. Her latest study on AI ethics guidelines appeared in Nature Machine Intelligence.
