After several years of experience as a research scientist, Jacopo Grazzini is nowadays focusing on data and information management, processing, and analysis in support of evidence-based policy-making. Jacopo is a member of the Methodology & Innovation unit of Eurostat -- the Statistical Office of the European Union within the European Commission -- whose mission is to foster innovation in Official Statistics through the promotion of modern statistical production processes (e.g., exploring artificial intelligence), and the engagement with private and public custodians of data sources (including "big data") and the research community.
