Julian Nolan is the founder and CEO of Iprova, a scale-up technology company with offices in Lausanne, Switzerland, and London and Cambridge, UK.

Iprova uses advanced machine learning and other technologies to bring a digital, data-driven, approach to the creation of inventions.  As a result, the company can create commercially relevant inventions with a speed and diversity not previously possible. Iprova has been successful in creating hundreds of inventions which have been the subject of patent filings by many of the world’s leading technology companies including Sony, Philips and Panasonic. These span diverse physical science-based industries including next generation mobile devices, wearables, 5G telecommunications, autonomous vehicles, blockchain and healthcare. 

Before starting Iprova, Julian was Vice President of Licensing for Honeywell in Europe. Julian holds a first degree in electronic engineering, postgraduate degrees in subjects which include artificial neural networks, and over 300 patent filings.
