Matthias is a Principal Data Scientist at the aviation consulting company zeroG. In his current role he is responsible for adopting latest academic research to real world applications in airline operations and revenue management. In current and past projects he envisioned and realized multiple solutions using state of the art methods in Computer Vision and Reinforcement Learning.

Matthias holds a PhD in Automated Driving from Technical University Ilmenau and a diploma in Computer Engineering with a specialization in robotics and Artificial Intelligence. In 2014, he became the first Data Scientist of Deutsche Bahn AG before joining zeroG in 2017.
