Portrait image of Nele Dael

Nele Dael works as a postdoc on a research project that aims to improve interpersonal skill assessment in an organisational context. She developed a new interpersonal sensitivity test based on perceptions of nonverbal behaviour. She also collaborates on the development of algorithms to detect expressions of soft skills in recorded job interviews.
Her research shows a strong measurement focus throughout previous projects, where she developed computer assisted coding tools and social sensing technology to analyse behaviour correlates of emotion in body gesture and posture.
