Philipp Schütz studied mathematical physics at ETH Zürich. After his PhD in theoretical biophysics on the analysis of biochemical networks at University of Zurich, he worked as a scientist at EMPA in the field of X-ray computed tomography and image analysis. In 2014, Philipp joined Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts as a lecturer for physics working on energy data analytics and, since 2019, co-heading the research group on storage and system assessment.
