Skanda Muralidhar is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Idiap Research Institute, Martigny, Switzerland. His research is focused on applying multimodal data processing and machine learning methods to interpret and model the social signals conveyed by human behavior in workplace interactions, and build predictive models for soft skill impressions. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in 2018, working with Prof. Daniel GATICA-PEREZ. In his thesis work, he developed automatic methods for cross-situation behavior analysis during customer-centric interactions. He also developed a framework for automatic, real-time personalized behavioral feedback using a wearable device.
