In 2018, Thibault Calvayrac graduated from EPFL with a Master's degree in Communication Systems, with a minor in Computational Neuroscience. In his Master's thesis, he developed a reinforcement learning method to automatically and efficiently design machine learning models (neural architecture search). This model outperformed methods published a year before, while requiring thousands of times less computational resources.

He then joined Visium to help bridge the gap between ML research and its applications in the industry. As a Machine Learning Engineer, he leads the development and integration of ML projects for the world's best brands.
