Virginie Uhlmann's work focuses on blending mathematical models with machine learning in to quantify and describe morphology from bioimages. Her research interests include geometrical modeling, shape analysis, and approximation theory. Her group's research agenda is split between methods development for bioimage analysis and collaborative, interdisciplinary projects with biologists and software developers.
