This talk covers the Swisscom's journey towards building a zero-touch operation network by means of the adoption of Network Telemetry and Big Data Analytics technologies. In particular, the review of the two-essential pieces of the puzzle enabling it: a) the network data collection with Network Telemetry and b) the data-driven real-time network monitoring using Big Data technologies and Analytics. Complemented with a demo of a successfully implemented real-time Big Data processing pipeline which monitors the real-time traffic, identifies anomalies and pinpoint to the root cause changes in network behaviour, causing these anomalies to happen.
