DEPsys is a leading Swiss technology company which provides GridEye platform enabling traditional power distribution networks to cope with the new constraints of decentralized production from renewable energy sources, such as photovoltaic systems and electromobility technologies. GridEye is a combined hardware and software tool which is simultaneously a powerful edge-computing and a sophisticated head-end-system answering to the various needs of distribution grid operators for the distribution grid supervision, evaluation of the quality of supply, grid control, management, operation, and planning. In this presentation, we go through some examples of how GridEye’s data analytics approaches are used by distribution grid operators for the grid analysis and its secure and optimal operation.
