Alexander Genser received a M.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering and Water Management from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU), Vienna, Austria, in 2018. Since 2018, he has been a Ph.D. student at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich in Switzerland. He is working in the Traffic Engineering and Control group at the Institute for Transport Planning and Systems (IVT) and interested in researching traffic optimization and traffic prediction problems on micro- and macroscopic transportation networks. He has participated in research projects related to mobility data analysis and traffic management funded by Swiss transport authorities and municipalities in Zurich, Aarau, and Lucerne.
