Katharina Schüller is an expert in data literacy, data ethics and data culture. In 2020, she initiated the development of a Data Literacy Charter together with the German the Stifterverband, which was signed by over 100 renowned representatives from business, politics, and academia. In 2021, the IEEE Standards Association appointed her to lead an international working group developing a global standard for Data & AI Literacy. In recognition of her work, she was awarded the Digital Female Leader Award in the field of IT-Tech. As a board member of the German Statistical Society, she is responsible for the topic of "Statistical Literacy" and is the author/editor of numerous publications, including the study "A Framework for Data Literacy" for the Hochschulforum Digitalisierung and the books "Statistics and Intuition" and "Marketing Analytics".
