Simon F. Nørrelykke is head of the Image and Data Analysis group at the Scientific Center for Optical and Electron Microscopy (ScopeM) at ETH Zurich, where he is also a lecturer. He holds a Ph.D. in bio-physics from the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen. His past research spans econo-physics, optical tweezers, single-molecule biophysics, and cell migration. At ScopeM he teaches and practices image processing and data analysis, lately with a strong focus on deep- and other machine-learning based methods.
