A plethora of new research methods using AI&ML methods to support the energy turnaround is published each year. However, the successful implemenation and demonstrations of the power of energy data analytics are scarse or not well known. In this presentation, I will show-case successful applications from Switzerland which were developed within the range of the Energy Data Hackdays. Most of the applications have been followed up and used by the challenge owners. Research is important, but the application in practice brings the success and provides education and information to the masses.
