Eirini Arvaniti is a researcher at ETH Zurich. She works on machine learning for prediction and interpretation of disease phenotypes from diverse biomedical datasets, ranging from high-dimensional single cell profiles to digital pathology images. In her PhD she focused on weakly-supervised learning approaches, aiming to obtain accurate predictions while reducing the need for expensive domain-expert annotations.
