James is a professional tech-headhunter and entrepreneur who has helped companies around the world from international corporations to fast growth start-ups, to identify, hire and retain great people.

 He is passionate about how technology can improve the ways companies attract talented employees and has founded two companies to develop platforms with this aim in mind. His most recent venture, Common Ground, helps STEM academics find work in AI in the private sector and puts an emphasis on the importance of cultural fit.

James regularly speaks at Academic institutions and has recently been invited to consult on a bid for EU Commission funding for PhDs transitioning to industry in Machine Learning.
