Sam Aldrin works as Staff Software Engineer within the Network Infrastructure of Google Cloud. He is involved in designing and operating of Google DataCenter networks at scale in order to meet the ever growing demands of Network Capacity and Bandwidth. Prior to Google, worked as Principal Engineer at Huawei Technologies and Technical Leader at Cisco Systems, developing various networking technologies. Author over 25 RFC’s in the area of Routing Protocols within IETF. Currently co-chairing the Network Virtualization Overlays working group at IETF. Frequent speaker various networking conferences and forums related to SDN, NFV and other networking technologies.
