Companies use algorithms that can extract social skills and personality from videotaped job interviews. But are those algorithms really extracting what they say they do and how good are they at assessing people from videorecordings? In this talk, we will discuss the promises and pitfalls of algorithms extracting person information from video and how and whether companies should include them in their recruitment procedures.
