In this talk I will present recent developments in my research group at the Sapienza University of Rome which achieve state-of-the-art performances in two key tasks of Natural Language Understanding, namely, Word Sense Disambiguation and Semantic Role Labeling, while at the same time enabling to scale across languages without the need to retrain systems with data which, unfortunately, is not available. I will also show multilingual demos of our systems engineered at Babelscape.
