The term “AI” causes many surrealistic ideas on what it can do and will bring to humanity. As practitioners we cannot deny the range and efficiency of the new possibilities such a technology offers. However, it is important to keep in mind that AI is a tool programmed and designed to solve a specific task. As any tool, it has its strengths and weaknesses. As any tool, one has to learn to work with it. Because many companies choose to use AI to improve or develop their products, the reflection on how to best integrate the interactions that will arise from the human and AI association starts at the very beginning of the tools’ creation.  

During this talk, we will take a journey into the creation of data science projects through the presentation of the Business Data Science Canvas. We will look at the main steps and  the various roles that are required for their success and the types of interactions and social relationships that will arise from this process. We will also look at the limitations of humans and algorithms in order to create a positive partnership that allows leaders and team members to take responsible decisions.
