Artificial intelligence has made tremendous breakthroughs in the last 30 years. Computers are now able to beat the best human players in chess, Jeopardy!, go and poker. This presentation will look at the role of AI in cyberdefence. As malicious actors do increasingly rely on AI techniques to perform cyberattacks, it is key to develop corresponding AI-based capabilities in order to keep an edge in cyberdefence. By showing actual research and innovation projects conducted at the Cyber-Defence Campus for security applications, the audience will be able to learn on the current possibilities and trends in AI-based cyberdefence.
