Rickard is a PhD in Professor Justin Solomon’s group at MIT. He’s also co-founder of the AI research lab Unbox AI together with Stanford Professor Gunnar Calrsson. Previously, he was a member of Professor Leonidas Guibas’ lab at Stanford where he earned his BSc in mathematics and MSc in CS. Rickard research is about applied topology, machine learning, learning on graphs, and unsupervised learning. His aim is to build applicable theory for how AI works and what it learns.
