Sola is a second-year PhD student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, advised by Deborah McGuinness. 
His research interests encompass Artificial Intelligence, the Semantic Web, and Natural Language Processing, with a focus on applying these methods to support personalization and decision making. His recent work has revolved around developing methods to support healthy lifestyle and food choices as part of the Health Empowerment by Analytics, Learning, and Semantics (HEALS) project.
