It doesn’t take much to bring Machine Learning to life throughout your organization! Discover how EPFL Extension School learners have made a big impact with the toolsets we teach in our Applied Data Science: Machine Learning program.

This 60-minute session will showcase a series of impactful capstone projects which have been developed by learners empowered with the skills required to oversee or implement a project that covers the full data science pipeline.

Machine Learning is disrupting every sector with diagnostics, visual recognition, natural language understanding, tailored marketing and content delivery, financial planning, optimization for supply chains, enhanced security practices and new approaches to customer service. That wave of disruption is why there are 50% more jobs requiring Machine Learning skills than job seekers who currently have them.

At the EPFL Extension School, we believe that ML skills should not be reserved for the Senior Data Scientists amongst us. Instead by empowering a wider audience with the skills required to oversee or implement a project that covers the full data science pipeline, we increase the possibilities for innovation and success amongst individuals and throughout organizations.

Through the workshop, participants will gain a better understanding of the range of possibilities for building and assessing predictive modelling tools for analytics across the data pipeline, through real life examples.

Participants are not required to have specific knowledge. Most importantly, they should be curious, inquisitive and have an interest in data and learning to extract insight from it.
